It converts from a crib into a toddler bed (use Dream On Me Universal toddler guard rail for conversion, sold separately) and a daybed (stabilizer bar sold separately), perfect for those early growing years. With 4 mattress height positions, the Carson can be adjusted according to the age of your baby. Use it in the highest setting first and gradually set it lower as your child grows. Other useful features include dual hooded, safety-locking wheels that can be removed, giving you the flexibility to use it as a stationary crib when needed. Built of renewable, sustainable & durable New Zealand pinewood, the Carsons design is a mix of straight and curved lines that blend beautifully with any room decor. Available in stylish, non-toxic finishes to mix and match and create a stylish nursery! The Carson comes with a stationary (non-drop side) rail design for added security, is JPMA certified and meets all applicable ASTM/CPSC standards. All tools for assembly included. The Carson measures 54L x 31W x 40H inches and the maximum weight capacity is 50 lbs. For the best fit, we recommend any Dream On Me or Evolur full-size, Greenguard certified mattress.
